In this first episode, Iman had to come to terms with the passing of her beloved Nenek. But that was not the only reality she had to face, as bizarre rumours started to circulate among family members during Nenek’s funeral. “She had been dabbling in witchcraft”, “She kept a djinn as a pet”, “She has cursed people before” and among others were heard and gossiped to suggest Iman’s grandmother engaged in suspicious acts with the supernatural. But the biggest shock of all was how everyone started to wonder who was going to inherit Nenek’s pet. Seeing as it could be really anyone, Iman starts to put herself in those person’s shoes, just to prepare for the worse.

 

How? Why? When? Iman tried to come to reason with the rumours, as everything she heard has been contradictory to how she has thought of Nenek. In fact, her memories of Nenek were almost the complete opposite of what her family members have suggested. Could Nenek be similar to the bomohs that she usually sees on television? Or was Nenek more similar to real life bomohs like Mona Fandey? Or the bomoh who tried to find for MH370?

 

Unfortunately, Iman would not come to know of the answer yet, and now worried for her own wellbeing, what she could be inheriting, and the identity of Nenek, she can only think of one solution. Searching the Internet.
